摘　　要：简要介绍了基于面向对象思想的统一建模语言UML的基本概念,并简要介绍了标准建模语言UML工具———RationalRose,并通过一个学校图书馆系统的UML建模。In Management Information system development, the system development methodologies of object oriented has been gaining more and more attention. This paper briefly introduces the main concepts of the Unified Modeling Language (UML) and explains the application of UML for management information system development through an example of a library system for School with UML modeling. Finally this paper describes UML case--Rational Rose.
