摘  要:20 0 1年11月14日昆仑山口西发生8 1级地震.应用高分辨率卫星影像进行地震地表破裂带解译,10m分辨率SPOT卫星影像能够清楚地反映出地震地表破裂主破裂带的形迹,1m分辨率IKONOS影像能反映出地震地表破裂的精细结构及运动特征.结果表明,昆仑山口西8 1级地震地表破裂带主要位于东昆仑断裂南麓冲洪积台地或冲洪积台地后缘的地貌陡变带和断层谷地里,是一条叠置在先存破裂带上的地震破裂带.在布喀达坂峰以东的地表破裂带长近35 0km ,由3条次级破裂组成,走向10 0°.流经破裂带的一系列沟谷发生左旋同步扭曲,平均滑动速率为13 4~16 8mm a,属AA级活动水平.最大左旋位错7 8m ,地震破裂带最宽达12 5 0m ,宏观震中位于93°17′E ,35°4 7′N ,即玉西峰附近的地震地表破裂带上.On November 14, 2001, a M S= 8.1 earthquake occurred in the west of Kunlunshan pass. High spatial resolution satellite images are used to study the earthquake surface rupture zone. By means of 10m spatial resolution SPOT images the major rupture zone can be revealed distinctly, meanwhile, 1m spatial resolution IKONOS images display the fine structures and kinematical characteristics of the surface rupture of the earthquake. The result shows that the main rupture consisting of three sub-rupture zones is about 350km long on the east side of Bukadabanfeng peak and its strike is about 100 degrees. The surface rupture zone is located mainly in a graben zone and fault valleys consisting of flood mesa or the rear edge of flood mesa in the southern foot of Kunlunshan and is superimposed on a pre-existing fault. A series of dongas and valleys cut by the rupture show isochronous sinistral strike slip, the slip rate is 13.4~16.8mm/a on an average that belongs to AA activity level. The maximum sinistral horizontal dislocation is 7.8m and the maximum rupture zone width is 1250m. The macroscopic epicenter lies in 93°17′E,35°47′N on the surface rupture zone nearby Yuxifeng peak.
