摘　　要：ＬｉＮｒＯ＿３光波导器件不受光信号带宽限制，易实现系统的高效率和高速化，是构成现代超高速、大容量和长距离光纤通信干线系统和光交换系统极具魅力的关键器件。本文着重介绍ＬｉＮｂＯ＿３光波导及其器件的原理、结构、性能与制作技术，以及在光通信领域中的应用。LiNtO_3 optical waveguide device is not limited in bendwidth of optical signais,and the system with high velocity and efficiency can be realital using this kind of device in morden fibre-optic communica-tion system for main line and optical exchange system with superfast velocity,huge capacity. This paper gives emphasis on the principle,fabrication of LiNbO_3 optital waveguide and optical waveguide. devices as well as their applications in optical communication.
