云南贡山黄胡蜂属一新种(膜翅目:胡蜂科)  

A New Species of the Genus Vespula (Hymenoptera:Vespidae) from Gongshan Yunnan, China

摘　　要：报 道 云 南 贡 山 黄 胡 蜂 属 Vespula 1 新 种 , 即 贡 山 黄 胡 蜂 Vespulagongshanensis, sp. nov.。模式标本保存在中国科学院昆明动物研究所。A new species of the genus Vespula from Gongshan, Yunnan, Vespula gongshanensis sp. nov., is described in this paper. The type specimens are deposited in Kunming Institute of Zoology, Academia Sinica. Vespula gongshanensis Dong, sp. nov. (Figs. 1~5) This species resembles Vespula rufa rufa (Linnaeus, 1759), but can be easily separated on the basis of following characters: length of body about 22 mm; scape of antenna brownish-red; clypeus wider than high; occiput strongly cocave medically; OOD 2 times as long as IOD, OCD 0.5 times as long as OOD; hind legs 1 st tarsus 3.3 times as long as 2nd tarsus; front, vertex, temple wholly yellow; mesoscutum with “U” shapeded and curve brown markes; sutellum, metasutellum and propodeum black, and marks of abdomen etc. Length of body about 22 mm. Holotype: ♀, Gongshan (27?47'N, 98?30'E), Yunnan Province, alt. 2 950m, 01- Ⅹ-2002, coll. DONG Da-zhi and LIANG Xing-cai; Paratype: 1♂386♀♀, same data as holotype.
