摘　　要：本文论述了视频会议系统的概念、分类、特点及系统的组网标准,阐述了正确选用标准的重要性并 介绍了最新视频传输技术的协议规范H.323标准。文中重点讨论了视频会议系统应用于远程教学的主要功能及 典型应用方案。This article gives the conception, classification, and the character of the Video-Meeting system as well as its standard for organizing the network. It expresses the importance of choosing the norm correctly, it also introduces the latest agreement; the standard of H. 323, which has been applied in transmitting Video. We have a great discussion on the main functions and some typical cases of application of this kind of system when used in the Far-Distance Education.
