摘  要:红壤丘陵区草山草坡改良快速、经济、有效的办法是利用适应性强、产草量高、品质好的禾本科、豆科牧草或豆科灌木改良天然草地。针对湘南红壤丘陵区草山草坡白茅多,且生命力极强、繁殖快、草质差等特点,采用等高环山相间种植法对7个牧草品种进行了试验。结果表明,在供试的7个品种中,木豆、桂牧1号和毛花雀稗生长快,竞争力强,能与白茅抗衡,产草量高,是红壤丘陵区改良草山草坡较理想的牧草品种。但木豆在低温条件下不能越冬。罗顿豆、苎麻生长稍差,但草质好,可改善天然牧草品质,若加强管理,辅以施肥,也是红壤丘陵区改良草山草坡较理想的牧草品种之一。胡枝子和银合欢必须育苗移栽,且育苗的高度要超过白茅。在移栽时还要注意适量施肥。Calang grass is the main plant on native grassland in hilly red soil region of south Hunan. It has the characteristics of strong libido, fast propagation and poor nutrition value. 7 herb species including 3 shrub legumes (Lespadeza, Leucaena and Cajanus Cajan (L). Millsp), 1 herbaceous Legume (Lotononis), 2 grass (Paspalum Dilatatum and Guimu No 1) and Ramie were planted following contour line to improve native grass. The Results showed that Guimu No 1, Gajanus Cajan (L). Millsp and Paspalum Dilatatum were ideal forage species comparing with other tested species to improve native grassland as they have the advantages of fast growth, high yield and strong competitive ability. However Cajanus Cajan(L). Millsp could not live through winter, Comparing with above 3 species, Lotononis and Ramie grown slowly, however their nutrition value were very high. They were also ideal forage species to improve native grassland under good management and fertilization condition.
