摘 要:介绍了华中科技大学快速制造中心生产的薄材叠层(LaminatedObjectManufacturing LOM)和选择性激光烧结(SelectiveLaserSintering SLS)系列快速成形系统在铸造模具快速制造中的应用方法、工艺路线和实例。采用这些方法和工艺路线大大缩短了新产品的开发周期,降低了开发成本,有必要在广大企业中大力推广应用。It will take much time and expenditure to manufacture casting moulds using traditional casting technologies, which can not meet the requirement of the today's market. For this reason, some new methods, technics and application examples of rapid manufacturing casting moulds based on the laminated object manufacturing (LOM) and selective laser sintering (SLS) series rapid prototyping (RP) system developed by Huazhong University of Science and Technology (HUST) are presented in this paper. Using these methods and technics, the time and cost of the development of new products can be reduced greatly, which has been proven by practical application.
