摘　　要：改革开放以来,中国经济呈波浪式发展并逐次上台阶的趋势,根据国内一些地区经济发展的成功模式以及湛江实际情况,湛江经济跨越式发展应侧重于中心市镇发展、海洋与港口开发以及深入推进两头开放和生态经济发展战略。This paper discusses, first, the economic law in China since its reform and opening to the outside world, and then the major patterns of continual economic development in a comparative way while taking into consideration the actual situation of economic development in Zhanjiang - its advantages and disadvantages in comparison with other cities. Finally, it proposes a pattern of continual economic development in Zhanjiang.
