摘　　要：本文介绍了2004年12月26日发生在印度尼西亚苏门答腊岛近海的8. 7级地震后引发的大规模海啸对东南亚国家造成的灾难的情况、各受灾国的应急响应、国际救援及中国国际救援队前往印尼班达亚齐开展救援行动的情况。The Sumatra earthquake generated Tsunami was the most powerful tsunami to hit the earth in 40 years. The death toll from the devastating tsunami in Asia has reached 300 000, which raised a worldwide international relief action. The damages as well as the national and international response to this disaster were introduced .Suggestions for the future development on the governmental emergency response ability were also discussed in this paper.
