摘　　要：在计算机屏幕上显示大型图形(如回放的测井曲线)时,常常使用窗口翻卷显示方式。其翻卷策略一般分为2 种,即自动翻卷和应用软件定义的翻卷。前者比较简单,但在实际应用中会受到很大限制。后者实用性更强,能够满足各种需要,但是对于其具体的实现技术,现有文献中基本上都没有进行详细的论述和说明。根据应用实践,较为系统地给出这种翻卷方式在工作站X Window环境下的实现技术。Scrolling policy is often used when we want to d isplay large figures or text objects. Two policies were often used: auto scrolli ng and applicationdefined scrolling. The former is easy and simple to design, but is much limited when used in our practical applications. The latter is more practical in spite of its complexity in its accomplishment. It can be fit for a variety of demands. But almost no documents describe its accomplishing technique in detail. Based on the programming practice, we will detail the key technique s under XWindow GUI system.
