摘　　要：上世纪廿年代,中医受旧政府歧视,通令登记限制,条例苛刻。江苏吴中地区常熟响应各地中医团体,提出抗议,发行医刊,派遣代表逐级向县市、省厅部门抗争。浒浦地区有常熟县医学会分会常务理事吴橘泉呈文呼吁,得到医界支持,为捍卫中华医学宝贵遗产作出有力奉献,至今当地人民仍记忆犹新。In 1920s, traditional Chinese medicine was discriminated by the old government and strict restrictions were promulgated for the practice of traditional Chinese medicine. In answer to the appeals of the TCM associations throughout the country, TCM physicians in Changshu, Jiangsu Province, took the lead in protesting against the government, advocating the publication of medical journals and sending representatives to talk to the government officials. Supported by the medical field, Wu Juquan, standing director of the Medical Association of Changshu County, made great contributions in protecting the valuable heritage of the Chinese medicine.
