摘　　要：XML是新一代的标志语言,在实现信息标准化、信息统一、信息的交换和共享上有其独特的技术优势,因此受到广泛的重视。UML是一种得到广泛应用的标准面向对象建模语言。文章利用UML将XML文档的开发融入软件统一开发过程中,并给出一个简单实例,描述了用UML设计XML文档模式的方法。XML which is the next generation mark up language has its unique technical advantages in standardization of information, uniformity of information, and in information exchange and sharing. UML is a popular, powerful and standard object modeling language. In this paper,UML is used to provide a graphical way for XML design, and the modeling method works well with the unified development process. This paper also gives an example to discusses how to design a good XML document schema using UML.
