摘　　要：“语言作为人类条件”是美国语言人类学者A. Duranti提出的一个重要命题,这是人类学视角下关于语言的一个新的定义。对这一命题学界尚未有相关演绎论述,它所涉及的主要问题有:语言的语言学界定,语言产生的生物学理据,语言进化与人类进化的关系。Language as human condition is an important proposition advocated by the American linguistic anthropologist A.Duranti (1999). It is believed that this proposition represents a brand-new identification of language, which is worth exploring in theory. Dealt with in the article are such fundamental issues as: linguistic delimitation of language, the development of language in respect to its biologic base, and the relation of language evolution to human evolution.
