摘　　要：在分析传统数据库管理系统的基础上,提出了一个基于文件名的多媒体数据库管理方法,根据传统数据库管理字符、数值的原理,采用SQL语言编程并通过ODBC访问数据库,结合ActiveX控件技术,解决了在数据库中管理多媒体数据的难题。实例结果表明在Authorware中实现对图像、视频、动画等多媒体数据的直接管理是可行的,并给出了相关的源代码。On the basis of analysing the traditional database management system, a method of multimedia database is proposed based on the file name. This method adopts the language programming of SQL, visits the database through ODBC according to the traditional database administration character and principle of number value, combines ActiveX controlling part technology and solves the difficult problem managing the multimedia data in the database. The result of instance indicates that it is feasible to realize the direct management to such multimedia data as the picture, video, cartoon, etc. in Authorware. Relevant source codes are provided.
