摘 要:近年来有关语言石化的研究越来越多,但就为什么有些语言形式和规则较其他的容易僵化这一现象仍有待进一步的探讨。为了更好地理解对语言发展形成障碍的心理机制,语言石化的研究还需深化。对于语言石化认识,研究者们也有着许多的不同之处,有的认为语言石化是结果,而有的则认为是一种过程。本文以Selinker的观点为主要理论依据,多角度详细阐述了语言石化现象形成的过程,并针对这些导致语言石化的因素,结合中国学生英语学习中出现的问题,提出相应的如何防止语言石化现象的建议与策略。A great deal of research has been launched in language fossilization in the last several decades. However, further studies are needed to explain why some linguistic forms and rules are more vulnerable to fossilization than others and to understand the psychological mechanism that hinders linguistic development. Experts in this area have different ideas, some viewing it as a product while some a process. This paper, based on Selinker's ideas on interlanguage fossilization, analyses in great details the processes that may cause interlanguage fossilization, and then in reference to problems with Chinese students who learn English, puts forward some suggestions for avoiding this kind of phenomena in second language acquisition.
