摘　　要：利用1989～2003年共15年的气象资料,采用逐日统计降水资料的方式,应用500hPa9～11月平均高度场及西太平洋副热带高压(简称副高)特征量、环流特征及冷空气活动次数与2004年9～11月的特征对比,发现冷空气活动活跃且多以扩散形式过境、副高势力偏弱、西风带加强是2004年秋季干旱典型的气候学特征。This paper compares the meteorological data of the year 2004 (September-November) with those of the past 15 years during 1989-2003 by means of the daily precipitation, 500hpa average height field , the characteristic elements of west Pacific Ocean subtropical high , the circulation characteristic and the cold front activity times. It finds that the cold fronts are active and most of them pass Guangxi in the form of proliferation, the subtropical high is weak, and the west wind belt strengthens. These are the typical climatic characteristic of the autumn drought in 2004.
