摘　　要：对苏通大桥沉井基础稳定性的计算分析表明,在满足基底承载能力要求时大型沉井的埋置深度不是越深越好,并且不需要太大。Based on the stability analysis of large caisson foundations in Sutong Bridge, this paper represented that if the bearing capacity requirement on the caisson foundation base is satisfied, it is not true that the embedded depth of the caisson foundation is the larger the better, and the depth needs not to be large.
