摘　　要：中国正式加入WTO已两年多时间了,事先人们对中国加入WTO后所面临的机遇与挑战作出了种种分析和预言。在入世后的新形势下,有些情况是原先预料到的,有些情况原先估计不足,还有的情况是新出现的。中国正处于加入WTO初期,加入WTO对中国农业的影响仍然有必要依据发展变化了的国际国内形势,作出进一步接近实际的估计和判断。Two years has passed since China's entry into WTO. Before its entry, different analysis and predictions had been made of its opportunity and challenges. After that, some were found to be exactly expected; some, inadequately foreseen; still others, newly emerged. At the very early stage of its entry, in accordance with the changing situation at home and abroad, its impact on China's agriculture needs further practical estimation and judgment. A brief analysis and discussion is made on the strategic adjustment in West China's agricultural structure after its entry into WTO.
