摘　　要：以1972～2002年我国女子竞技游泳成绩的发展变化为切入点,全面分析和总结了我国女子游泳自70年代以来的发展特征、存在问题,并提出了建议。研究表明,我国女子游泳总体竞技水平的发展表现出阶段性、波浪式发展,整体竞技水平周期性波动、全运会成绩达高峰、短距离技术类有优势等特征。Based on the evolution of performance of Chinese women's competitive swimming between 1972 and 2002, the authors comprehensively analyzed and summarized the development characteristics of and problems existed in Chinese women's swimming since the 1970s, and brought forward several proposals. Their research indicated that the development of overall competitive performance of Chinese women's swimming presents such characteristics as periodical and fluctuant patterns of development, periodical fluctuation of overall competitive performance, best performance achieved at National Games, as well as advantages in short distance technology category.
