摘　　要：基于Linux发展我国自主的民文OS方法及技术具有非常重要的意义.其中国际化、本地化及民文化是三个重要的概念.Locale的民文化定制是国际化、本地化的底层实现.在X窗口系统中实现民文的显示,输入和打印的技术是Linux民文化的关键.This paper mainly discusses the means and techniques to develop an independence minority language OS based on Linux. Firstly, this paper introducesthe concepts of I18N, L11N and minority languages localization. Secondly, this paper introduces the concepts of locale, this project to customize a minority language locale and the technique to use this locale in X-window. Finally, this paper introduces the techniques to carry out internationalization and minority languages localization in X-window from display, input and print.
