摘　　要：船舶作为高价财产,常被用作建造、买卖船舶贷款的担保抵押物。然而,抵押权人———银行经常面临由于船舶损坏、灭失或被法定拍卖而导致的抵押物价值减少的风险,保险作为传统而实用的风险转移方法,将成为银行、船东保护双方利益的首选方式。A vessel, as the valuable object, is often mortgaged to banks in the course of shipbuilding or ship purchase. However, the bank usually suffers the risk of decreasing value of such mortgaged object due to damage, loss or auction sale of the ship. The traditional and useful protection of the banks & shipowners' interest is the preferred option for insurance method.
