摘  要:设计了一种可在常温常压下操作的准双极性微型质子交换膜燃料电池(PEMFC)电堆。利用Nafion117质子交换膜横向电阻大、密封性能好的特点,在同一质子膜上一次热压形成4单体膜电极(MEA),同时利用点状流场分配氢气燃料的均匀性,在特种有机玻璃基体上首次组装了体积仅为59mL的8单体氧电极自呼吸式微型PEMFC电堆。极化实验表明,在常温常压、反应气无增湿的条件下,该电堆可输出4.26W的峰值功率,单体间性能基本相同,大电流密度下连续运行无明显的水淹(Flooding)问题,适合应用于便携式电子产品。The design, fabrication and performance evaluation of a passive air-breathing bi-planar miniature PEMFC stack on lucite plates were presented in this paper:The stack consisted of 8 membrane-electrode-assemblies(MEAs) with individual active area of 2 cm×2 cm. The MEAs were sandwiched between 3 substrates with 4 ones on each plane. A series of spot flow fields(1.0 mm×1.0 mm× 1.0 mm) in the middle plate were engraved on both sides of the middle plate. A fuel feedhole(f =3 mm) was drilled in middle place of a side face of the plate. The other two lucite plates had through openings (f =1.0 mm) formed air-breathing passages for oxygen electrode. The stack's dimension is 7.0 cm×1.2 cm×7.0 cm. By studying performance of a separated cell and two 4-cell stacks on each plane, it is concluded that the stack has no obvious water-flooding problem and exhibits uniform performance among the cells. The stack's peak power density is close to the sum of the 8 cells and reaches 133 mW/cm2 with the corresponding stack voltage of 3.82 V at current density of 0.279 A/cm2. The specific power and powerdensity values are 67.6 W/kg and 72.4 W/L respectively.
