摘　　要：《UCP500》是现今国际银行界和贸易界广泛使用的一项国际贸易惯例。但其对指定行的有关规定存在一些缺陷:一是未对信用证中的指定行进行明确定义;二是虽对指定行的审单期限作了明确规定,但对其审单超过此期限的责任却未明确规定。UCP500 is an international trade common practice in present-day international banking and trading circles. However, there are some flaws in the stipulations of instructed lines in UCP500. One the one hand, the instructed lines in credit cards are not defined clearly. On the other hand, although the review duration is defined clearly in the instructed lines,no clear definition is made of the responsibility of the review duration beyond the time limit. Relevant suggestions have been made concerning the above-mentioned flaws and later editions.
