摘　　要：个人数字助理现在已经被越来越多的人使用。随着PDA功能的多样化,对主处理器通用输入输出口的数量也提出了更多的要求,然而主处理器GPIO的数量是有限的。因此为了缓解这种矛盾,可以选择有数据处理能力的单片机来进行GPIO的扩展。PIC16F676以其优异的性能和合理的价格成为众多单片机中的首选。文章通过对PIC16F676进行详细的介绍,给出具体的电路,最后通过对电路的分析得出单片机在GPIO口扩展、备份电池管理、电量检测和电池充电管理中的应用。PDA (Personal Digital Assistant) has been used widely in business. More and more GPIO (General Purpose Input Output) pins are required in the design because of the diversification of the PDA's function. However, the number of the GPIO pins is fixed and limited. So the MCU (Micro programmed Control Unit) can be used to solve this problem. The PIC16F676 is selected because it has excellent performance and reasonable price. This article introduces the PIC16F676, then gives and analyzes the details of circuit, and gets the applications in the expansion of the GPIO, the management of the back-battery, inspection of the capacity of the battery and the management of the battery charging.
