摘　　要：报告了福建厦门鸡屿上的鼎突多刺蚁(PolyrhachisvicinaRoger)的部分生物学特性及其分布,旨在为确定鼎突多刺蚁对厦门白鹭自然保护区鹭类的影响提供科学基础.结果表明,在岛上鹭类与鸢的主要栖息地都有这种蚁营巢.其集群的种群数量从冬季到夏季逐渐扩大,早秋开始后下降.在集群中,大部分个体集中于蚁巢中心部位.在岛屿的不同坡面和植被类型中,蚁巢密度差异较大.其对生境的选择与鹭类相似.因此,可以认为,鼎突多刺蚁与岛上的鹭类与鸢的主要营巢区密切相关.建议对岛上的蚁巢密度加以控制以保持厦门白鹭自然保护区鹭类的种群平衡.Some biological property,dynamics and distribution of Polyrhachis vicina Roger in Jiyu Islet,Xiamen of Fujian Province are reported in this paper,which can provide scientific basis for the effect of P.vicina on Egrets mixed population in Xiamen Egret Natural Reserve.The results showed that the P.vicina nested in the main breeding area of the Egrets and Gledes.For the colony,the population was grown from winter to summer and descended after early autumn.The colonial individual in the maternal-nest is more abundant than that in the side-nest.Nest density in varied mountain slopes and vegetation are significantly different.The result also shows that the ant choose nest distribution the same as the Egrets.It is inferred that the population of P.vicina has a close relationship with the main breeding area for the Egret and Glede in this Islet.It is suggested that nest density should be control to keep the population equilibrium for the protection of Egrets mixed population in Xiamen Egret Natural Reserve.
