摘 要:微波功率放大器设计需要大信号S参数,但大多数情况下,设计者只有小信号S参数和静态I-V曲线。文章提供了一种在此条件下进行设计的方法:即首先利用ADS软件,将功率管的小信号S参数制成S2P文件供仿真电路使用;再通过静态I-V曲线计算出输出负载阻抗,利用软件的优化功能将输出电路共扼匹配到本阻抗;对于输入电路,则按照最大增益的原则使源阻抗与输入阻抗共扼匹配;最终对整个电路进行优化,完成整个电路的设计。<Abstrcat>The design of microwave power amplifier needs large-signal S parameters,but under most circumstances,the designer only has small-signal S parameters and the static I-V curve.In this paper,a designing method is presented to deal with this conditions.Firstly,by means of the ADS software,the small-signal S parameters of the power amplifier are utilized to make the file of S2P for the use of the simulation circuits. Secondly,the load impedance is calculated through the static I-V curve and then matched conjugately to the output circuits by using the optimization function in the software. The input impedance is matched conjugately to the source impedance according to the maximization gain. Finally,the whole circuits are optimized to complete the design of the circuits.
