Measurement of Bone Mineral Density of Adolescent Boys and Girls in the Urban Areas and the Suburbs of Beijing

摘  要:目的了解市区与郊区12~14岁男女骨密度(BMD)的变化规律。方法利用双能X线骨密度仪对613例健康中学生男女行全身扫描。其中,市区307例,郊区306例;男生296例,女生317例。结果市区男女生的全身总BMD值明显高于郊区男女生(P<0.01),市区男女生的身高比郊区男女生高2~5cm,市区男女生的体重比郊区男女生重2~10kg。女生BMD值高于同龄男生,女生BMD年增长速度快于同龄男生,女生BMD年增长2.7%~8.1%,男生BMD年增长2.1%~2.5%。结论该年龄段女生BMD值高于同龄男生,郊区男女生生长发育比市区同龄男女生晚约1~2年。Objective To observe the changes of bone mineral density (BMD) of boys and girls from 12 to14 years old in the urban areas and the suburbs of Beijing.Methods 613 middle school students were divided into the city group and the suburbs group, and whole body scanning was performed with dual energy X-ray bone densitometer.Results The values of BMD of the boys and girls in the urban areas were significantly higher than that in the suburbs (P<0.01). The boys and girls in the urban areas were 2-5 cm higher and 2-10 kg heavier in body weight than those in the suburbs of the same age. As compared with the boys of the same age, the girls had higher value and annual growth rate of BMD, being 2.7%~8.1% in girls and 2.1%~2.5% in boys, and the difference was of statistical significance.Conclusion BMD of girls were higher than that of boys of the same age from 12 to14 years old. Compared with those in urban areas, the growth and development of boys or girls in the suburbs were 1~2 years delayed.
