增生平片药理学作用及其作用机理的实验研究

摘　　要：增生平片在食管癌高发区二级预防中，使食管上皮重度增生患者３年和５年癌变率下降约５０％，说明该药是食管癌生成的有效阻断剂。作者选用８项实验指标对增生平片的免疫调节效应和抗促癌作用进行了初步研究。结果表明，增生平片不仅是有效的抗促癌药物，而且具有明显的免疫调节作用。提示食管上皮重增患者癌变率的降低，是本药对机体免疫功能激活作用和抗促癌作用的综合效果。Abstract Zeng Sheng Pin Pian (ZSPP)is a mixture of medicinal herbs which has been shown to be effec-tive in the secondary prevention of esophageal cancer in a high -risk area among a population with severe esophageal dysplasia. This study in mice aimed at elucidating the possible mechanism ofthe cancer-preventing activity of ZSPP. The results indicate that ZSPP is a good biologic responsemodifier (BRM) as shown by its enhancing effects on lymphocyte blastogenesis, IL-2 secretion, NKcell activity, delayed-type hypersensitivity reaction to DNCB, hemolysin response to SRBC and the phagocytic function of the reticulo-endothelial system. While ZSPP did not inhibit the growth of S-180 in mice, it exhibited. significant inhibitory effect on ornithine decarboxylase (ODC)activity in-duced by the application of croton oil to the skin. Taken together, the immune enhancing activityand the anti-tumor-promoting activity of ZSPP could explain, at least in part, its efficacy in theprevention of esophageal cancer among high-risk people with precursor dysplastic lesions.
