摘　　要：自由主义大致经历了古典自由主义和现代自由主义两个阶段,自由主义所要解决的问题就是在资本主义社会中的个人与国家和社会的关系的问题。但无论是古典的主义还是现代自由主义都未能真正解决。自由主义作为一般思潮是市场经济的必然要求和产物。The liberalism, which grown from the classical liberalism and the modern liberalism, would have answered the question of the relation between the individual and the state or the society. But they really cannot solve. The liberalism as a string of thought , which is the demand and result of the market economy .have the important warning significance for the market economy in our socialistic nation.
