摘　　要：　随着数字化的发展,图像压缩技术从深度与广度上都取得了前所未有的进步,指纹图像压缩则因为指纹识别系统本身的特殊性而具有不同于一般图像压缩的特殊要求.简要综述了指纹图像压缩中的一些主要方法和关键技术,分析了其中的不足和今后的发展方向,并尝试提出了基于指纹特征点的图像压缩评价准则.To meet the special demands of fingerprint image compression of automation fingerprint identification system, this paper introduces some compression algorithms and key technologies for fingerprint image, summarizes their defects and trend of development with suggestions and evaluations based on the minutia features for fingerprint image compression.
