摘　　要：文章在论述GML(地理标记语言)及其特点的基础上,通过对国内数字城市建设现状的认真分析,探讨GML技术对实现数字城市中空间数据共享和互操作的作用,指出了实施GML技术在数字城市建设中的重要作用。This article first discusses Geographic Markup Language (GML) and its characteristics, and considering the current trend of digital city construction in China, the author continues to explore the role of GML and related technologies in spatial data sharing and GIS interoperability, and then gives some advice on the use of GML.
