摘　　要：要不要实现近代化、怎样实现近代化、实现怎样的近代化等问题直接促成了岩仓使节团的欧美之行。这次出访使日本明治新政府找到了发展资本主义的楷模和途径,制定出了适应国际形势和日本国情的方针和政策,成功地闯出了一条独具特色的近代化之路,其成功的经验和作法对后进国家的近代化极具启示和借鉴作用。If it is necessary to modernize or what type of modernization to choose, and how to realize it, in Japan all these questions gave birth to the tour to Europe and America which was leaded by Ewakula Tonomi. Through investigation, Japanese government in 1870s found out a path to capitalism, established many politics appropriated to the civil and international circumstances, and developed a special way for modernization. Japanese experiences will enlighten and give some reference to the undeveloped countries.
