摘  要:在光路密集的频分复用系统中,当光纤中入射光功率非常大的时候,五次非线性效应不能忽略.重点考虑了五次非线性对调制不稳定性(MI)的影响,结果表明:当光场强度非常大时,由于五次非线性效应的影响,在光纤的反常色散区, MI并非总能发生.这为有效地避免频分复用系统中四波混频的不利影响提供了思路.计算表明,为了降低MI不能发生的功率阈值,需要充分利用具有高五次非线性系数的光纤做传输介质.Because input power in the fiber is large in t he system of frequency division multiplexing having dense light carrier waves, the effect of quintic nonlinearity should not be ignored. The effect of quintic non linearity on modulational instability was considered. The results showed that: m odulational instability didn′t happen all the time in the anomalous-dispersion regime of fiber owing to the effect of quintic nonlinearity when the intensity of light field was very large. It offered an idea in order to effective avoiding the disadvantage influence of four-wave mixing. The result of calculating show ed that it need to take fully advantage of the fiber with great coefficient of q uintic nonlinearity as transmission medium in order to reduce the threshold of i nput power of modulational instability that doesn′t happen.
