摘　　要：自由主义的欧美源头与民族主义有一种相融和支持的关系。19世纪末以来中国的历史情境,更强化了自由主义与民族主义的这种联系。在个人与国家之间,近代中国的自由主义不得不更重于国家的意义,自由主义也就变形为实现民族主义目标的工具。Liberalism,which originated in Europe and America,has a close relationship with nationalism.The Chinese history since 19th century has strengthened this connection.In modern China,the liberalists had to pay more attention to national affairs,and emphasize more on the national significance.Therefore,liberalism was dissimilated to be a tool to realize the aim of nationalists.
