泛珠三角经济区政区建置沿革的空间关系演变透视

摘　　要：阐述泛珠三角自然地理共性和各省区的历史建置沿革,探讨了我国历史上根据山川形便和犬牙交错原则在这一地区划分政区的各种表现和变迁,指出历史上大多数时期按前者设置政区,以利用河流运输和水利;后者则出于加强中央集权,防止地方势力凭险割据,并进一步指出由此产生的政治、经济等区域效应,说明政区建置沿革是泛珠三角能够成为一个相对完整的地理单元的一个重要根据,也是历史发展的一个合乎逻辑的结果。A regional concept, the Pan-Zhujiang Delta Economic Region, which consists of nine provinces plus HongKong and Macao, has recently been put forward and is now put in practice, which has become a hot topic of conversation today. However, its basic researches are rather weak and the study of its historical geography may be regarded as a blank. Based on the analysis of the natural conditions and resources of those provinces (regions), the study on the processes of historical changes and development of every province in the region is conducted. It is pointed out that two principles were used in delimiting administrative districts in ancient China: the first is that following the trends of mountains and rivers, the second is forming a jagged and interlocking pattern in case of separatism. In most historical periods of China, the administrative districts were delimited according to the first principle in order to make full use of the river transportation and water conservancy. The purpose of using the second principle was to strengthen the centralization of authority and to avoid decentralization. After the Song Dynasty, with the development of commodity economy, a common market was gradually formed in the Zhujiang Delta. It was needed to break through the administrative district limits to promote the regional economic cooperation and to form a united economic region. It is the basis of taking the Pan-Zhujiang Delta Economic Region as a relatively complete geographical unit and is the necessary outcome of the development in history. It is supposed to make full use of the predominance of its geographical location to serve constructing an economic cycle of the Pan-Zhujiang Delta Economic Region and setting down some relative development plans.
