摘　　要：随着数字音视频产业的蓬勃发展,嵌入式视频压缩技术应用越来越广泛。利用DSP运算能力强、编程灵活的特点,本文提出了一种基于TI公司DM642EVM的MPEG4编码器实现方案。文中首先分析了系统的总体结构,然后阐述了利用超常指令字(VLIW)与软件流水优化程序的具体步骤与方法。实验结果表明,该编码器可以实时编码PAL制CIF图像,实现了MPEG4的简单类。With the developonent of the digital audio and video industry, embedded video compression technology is applied more widely. In this paper, a MPEG 4 Encoder based on TI DM642 EVM is introduced due to DSP's strong operation ability and ease of programming. Firstly, the system frame is analyzed, then optimizing process and means using VLIW and software pipelining are illustrated in detail. Experiment testifies that the encoder can encode PAL format CIF images in real time, and implements the Simple Profile of MPEG 4.
