摘 要:为了减少视频编码标准H.264运动估计模块的计算复杂度,提出了一种带有模式选择的快速运动估计算法.基于编码块模式最终选择结果的统计分析,讨论了图像特征与模式选择之间的关系,得出大块模式选择的比例远高于小块模式.采用运动估计块匹配过程中得到的中间结果绝对值误差和(SAD)与运动矢量,分别给出了三条模式选择准则.将运动估计的直接搜索过程改进为先进行编码块模式判断,再进行选中块匹配搜索过程.实验结果表明,与全搜索算法相比,该算法平均搜索时间明显减少,同时保持了非常近似的解码图像质量和编码码率,保持了多模式运动估计的优点.For decreasing the computational complexity of motion estimation in video coding standard H.264, a fast algorithm with three mode decision principles was proposed. On the basis of the statistical analysis of finally selected encoding mode, the relationship between encoding chosen block and image characters was discussed. The ruler of big block being more easily chosen than small block was derived. By combining sum of absolute difference (SAD) and motion vector in motion estimation, and three mode decision principles were provided. The block mode characteristics were analyzed by the principle of reducing redundant computation in the unnecessary searching block. The direct multiple modes searching process in motion estimation was improved to two steps including mode decision first and then block searching. The simulation results show that the proposed algorithm can provide better competitive performance than the full search algorithm, and that the computational cost is reduced efficiently with similar visual quality and bit rate.
