摘　　要：清光绪二十八年(1902)河北农业大学前身—直隶农务学堂诞生,经几易其名,于1958年更名为河北农业大学至今。清光绪三十一年(1905)直隶高等农业学堂时期创办了《北直农话报》,清光绪三十四年(1908)更名为《直隶农务官报》,中华民国七年(1918)改出《农学月刊》,中华民国十七年(1928)易名为《河大农刊》,中华民国二十三年(1934)更名为《河北通俗农刊》,中华民国二十四年(1935)易名为《河北农林学刊》,1948年更名为《河北农学院研究专刊》,1959年更名为《河北农业大学学报》至今。《河北农业大学学报》前身诸刊都与现时的《河北农业大学学报》有着一脉相承的历史渊源,各刊之间联系紧密,连续性、继承性强。因此,《河北农业大学学报》的创刊时间应追溯至1905年创办的《北直农话报》。Zhili Agricultural School, the Predecessor of the present Agricultural University of Hebei, was founded in 1902. And during the years from 1902 to 1958, its school name had been changed for several times, 1n the 31st year of Guangxu time in Chinese Qing dynasty, or in A.D. 1905, the Journal of Beizhi Agricultural Science (Beizhi Nonghua Bao in Chinese) was started by Zhili Agricultural College, And during the following decades, for different causes, the journal had been renamed for many times as Zhili Official Journal of Agriculture (Zhili Nongwu Guanbao) in the 34th year of Guangxu time of Chinese Qing dynasty (or A.D.1908), Agricultural Monthly (Nongxue Yuekan) in the seventh year of the Republic of China (1918), Agricultural Journal of Hebei University (Heda Nongkan) in the 17th year of the Republic of China (1928), Hebei Popular Journal of Agriculural (Hebei Tongsu Nongkan) in the 23nd year of the Republic of China (1934), Hebei Journal of Agriculture And Forestory (Hebei Nonglin Xuekan) in the 24th year of the Republic of China (1935), Research Journal of Hebei Agricultural College (Hebei Nongxueyuan YanjiuZhuankan) in 1948, and the present name, Journal of Agricultural University of Hebei (Hebei Nongye Daxue Xuebao), in 1959. Studies show that the present journal, Journal of Agricultural University of Hebei, can be traced to the same origins with its various predecessor journals mentioned above. All the journals are found closely related with high continuance and inheritance. Therefore, the starting date of Journal of Agricultural University of Hebei should be the year of 1905 when the Journal of Beizhi Agricultural Science was started.
