New Multiple Tuned Mass Damper Models Based on Uniform Distribution of System Parameters

摘  要:提出了系统参数均匀分布的8种多重调谐质量阻尼器(MTMD)模型,试图寻求不产生近零最优平均阻尼比的MTMD模型.基于结构最大动力放大系数最小值的最小化,研究了8种MTMD模型的最优参数和控制效果.最优参数包括最优频率间隔、最优平均阻尼比和最优调谐频率比.数值研究表明,UM-MTMD1~UM-MTMD3、US-MTMD1、US-MTMD2和UD-MTMD2不存在近零最优平均阻尼比,而且最优UM-MTMD3具有更好的有效性和鲁棒性.比较显示,最优UM-MTMD3和最优MTMD-1的有效性和鲁棒性基本一致.考虑这些优越性能,采用MTMD控制结构的动力响应时,宜选择最优UM-MTMD3和没有近零最优平均阻尼比的MTMD-1.Eight new multiple tuned mass damper (MTMD) models, with the system parameters being respectively uniformly distributed around their average value, were proposed to seek for the MTMD models without near-zero optimum average damping ratio. The optimum parameters and effectiveness for these eight MTMD models were investigated through the minimization of minimum values of the maximum dynamic magnification factors (DMF) of the structure. The optimum parameters include the optimum frequency spacing, average damping ratio, and tuning frequency ratio. Found are the six MTMD models without near-zero optimum average damping ratio (i.e. UM-MTMD1-UM-MTMD3, US-MTMD1, US-MTMD2, and UD-MTMD2) through extensive numerical analysis. Likewise the optimum UM-MTMD3 renders the higher effectiveness and robustness. The comparison shows that the effectiveness and robustness for the optimum UM-MTMD3 is almost identical to that for the optimum MTMD-1. It is preferable to employ the optimum UM-MTMD3 or the optimum MTMD-1 without near-zero optimum average damping ratio for reducing the structural response due to dynamic loads.
