摘　　要：根据纯棉色织布生产实践中发生在布边上的烂边、荷叶边、卷边及脱边等问题,探讨了布边设计的原则和方法,认为布边设计的总原则是保证适当的宽度、松紧度和厚度。列举了几种织物常用布边的设计方法及边经穿综、入筘方法。Principle and methods of selvage design are discussed according to torn selvage, shell hem, lapel ,off-clip and so on problems in selvage during cotton colored woven fabric production practice. Suitable width, elastic degree and thickness are considered to be main principle in selvage design. Selvage design method and side warp drafting & reed-in methods of several fabric normal selvage are enumerated.
