摘　　要：本文试从社会伦理的角度,借用国内社会学研究界有关“二元社会结构”和“转型期社会”这两个概念,分析小说中呈现的中国社会“城市”与“农村”两个世界的封闭与反差,并解释作者在书中的诸多两难表述。《等待》以中国社会转型的初始阶段为背景,以婚姻和爱情的社会伦理为叙述层面,展开作者对变革中的中国社会的思考,它从一个农村家庭的解体和转化反映了当代中国社会转型的内在因素及其变化过程。This paper is to apply the concepts of 'binary social structure' and 'transformational society' to the study of Waiting in the perspective of social ethics. It will reveal the contrasts between the two worlds 'city' and 'countryside' represented in this novel, and attempt to explain the many dilemmas the author of the novel is faced with. At the same time when Waiting presents the social reforms in China, it also expresses the author's concern about the decline of people's morality in the transformational society.
