摘　　要：基于在车牌中使用的汉字固定,且数量很少,其中的汉字字体均有国家标准确认等特点,该文提出了一种根据汉字的投影特征来识别车牌中的汉字的方法,它利用汉字图像投影图,找出汉字笔画数量、结构,以及其中长竖线长横线的数量等特征,用这些特征有效、高速地识别车牌中的汉字。Based on the Chinese character set rather small and the font of those characters confirmed by national standard,this paper provides a method of recognizing Chinese characters that appear in vehicle plate.Using the projection of character images,this method finds out some features such as number of strokes,structure and number of long lines.According to these features,the character can be recognized quickly and effectively.
