摘　　要：RAID是一种流行的改善系统I/O功能和可靠性的技术。它包含RAID0～RAID6等7个不同级别,不同RAID级别代表着不同的存储性能、数据安全性和存储成本。描述如何在Solaris9利用SunVolumeManager工具建立与管理磁盘RAID,并根据实践经验,给出了应用中常见的RAID1与RAID5的实现步骤及系统失效后的恢复方法,为服务器的高可靠性,不间断工作提供强有力的保证。Raid is a kind of popular systematic I/O function of improvement and technology of dependability. It includes 7 different ranks such as RAID 0- RAID 6, etc. Different raid ranks represent different memory performance, security of the data and store the cost. How to utilize Sun Volume Manager tool to set up and manage magnetic disc RAID in solaris 9 was described. And according to practical experience, the recovery method, after a common RAID a realization step and system with RAID5 lose efficiency in providing and using, offered the powerful assurance for the high dependability of the server and incessant work.
