摘　　要：上海小刀会的各种不同于传统秘密会党的特色,都源于东南社会变迁。五口通商后受洋货直接冲击,传统农业、手工业破产;传统秘密结社天地会支派随移民进入沪地,成为上海小刀会起义的关键性因素。此时的商贸环境使小刀会重视商贸,“洋人”环境使小刀会面临复杂的外交关系。The characteristics of Shanghai Small Sword Party, which were different from those of traditional secret societies, were all originated from the evolution of Chinese southeastern society. The five ports trading with all countries resulted in bankruptcy of traditional agriculture and handicraft industry because of the direct attack of foreign goods. One branch of Heaven-and-earth Society, a traditional secret society, came to Shanghai by following the immigrants, and became a key factor in Shanghai Small Sword Party uprising. The commercial situation at that time made the Small Sword Party attach importance to trading, while a 'foreigners' situation forced the Small Sword Party to face complicated diplomatic relations.
