求是、求实、求新——西部地方性新建本科院校的评建思考

摘　　要：西部新建地方性本科院校本质上属于本科院校中的弱势群体,面对掐着指头计算的国家教育部的评估时间,我们应该:求是,老老实实地从所处的社会经济文化环境和本校的实际出发,来确定学校的定位与目标、层次与规模;求实,实实在在地健全机构,分解落实评建任务,分阶段督查,限期保质保量完成;求新,从地方经济发展实际出发确定学科专业的重点和发展优势,扬“长”避“短”,“另辟蹊径”,寻求我们独特的发展空间和优势。The newly-built colleges in the west of China belong to the disadvantaged parts in all colleges in nature.However, the time for evaluation by the National Ministry of Education is coming. As a result, we must seek truth: to make sure of the position, the objectives, the administrative levels and the dimensions honestly according to the truth of social, economic and cultural environment of the school;we must also be realistic: to set up institutions which are as sound as a bell, to assign and fulfill the tasks for evaluation, to examine the work by stages, to accomplish the tasks under the preconditions of quality and quantity; Moreover, we need to seek new ways: to confirm the keys of different majors and advantages for development based on our local economic development, to make full use of our advantages and avoid our disadvantages, meanwhile to seek our unique developing space and advantages.
