摘　　要：菲尔丁通过《弃儿汤姆·琼斯的历史》这部作品向我们展示了他那"严整而系统的男权观点",那就是,男人是社会的中流砥柱。《弃儿汤姆·琼斯的历史》便是以男性为社会主导历史。本文将通过分析作品中男性人物的自我意识膨胀及女性人物的自我意识泯灭来为菲尔丁的男权思想提供佐证。<Abstrcat>Feilding showed us his thorough and systematic male chauvinism in terms of his novel-The History of Tom Jones,a Foundling,namely,male was the main stay in that society.The history of'Tom Jones'was the one that male played a leading role.This article will provide Feilding's male chauvinism with the evidence by analyzing male's expanding of self-consciousness,and female's of self-consciousness in this novel.
