摘　　要：外商直接投资对经济增长具有良性传导机制。根据总量生产函数采用PanelData模型,利用中国28个省、自治区和直辖市1984—2002年数据的实证研究表明,外商直接投资对中国经济发展存在促进作用。积极推动东北老工业基地的经济发展和振兴,引进和利用外资具有重要意义。Foreign direct investment has virtuous transmission mechanisms over economic growth. An empirical research on the basis of panel-data production function method, grounded on the data from1984 to2002 in 28 provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities directly under the Central Government, displays foreign direct investment can propel China’s economic progress. Therefore, introduction and utilization has an important meaning for pushing forward the economic development and revival of northeast old industrial bases.
