摘　　要：在简要分析了嵌入式MPEG-4视频监控系统的特点与优势及其在电力系统中应用的可行性的基础上,给出了该系统的设计方案。并详细地叙述了嵌入式MPEG-4编解码的实现。实际应用表明,该系统具有性能稳定、无需专人管理、可扩展性好等优点。On the basis of briefly analyzing embedded MPEG-4 video surveillance system's characteristics and priorities, and feasibility of its applying in power system,this paper proposes the system's design scheme.The design of embedded MPEG-4 encoding and decoding are provided in detail.Practical application has indicated that the system has some virtues,such as performance stabilize,need no special man managing,good expansibility etc.
