As compared with classical agar dilu-tion method, the result with five kinds of antibiotics shows that the percentage of agreement within ± 1 log_2MIC isfrom 88. 68 to 100, it averages 94, and all the correlation coeffcient is more than 0. 90. The method is easy to per-form. The zone of inhibition of bacterial growth is clear. The end-point is sharp and the result is accurate.
