摘　　要：蒋纯祖这一形象的独特意义在于对生命超越的追求。生命超越即实现个性的过程。蒋纯祖的生命超越之路就是个性不断摆脱诱惑与奴役的斗争之路。《财主底儿女们》浓墨重彩地就个性与爱情的冲突、个性与集体的冲突两个方面展现了蒋纯祖的超越之路。这也可以看作是作者对“五四”“个性解放”洪流中两个最受瞩目的主题———追求自由恋爱与走向革命道路的继续探讨。The special meaning of the image of JIANG Chun-zu consists in pursuing the transcendence of life. The transcendence of life is the process of individuality realization. The road of Jiang chun-zu's pursuing the transcendence of life is the conflicting road that his character breaks away from the lure and the slavery continuously.Sons and Daughters of the Rich Man expresses it from the conflict between individuality and love, between individuality and collective. This can also be regarded as the author's inquiring continuously into two topics which attract most of attention in 'May 4th Movement'—pursuing free love and alignment the revolutional road.
